A letter from our founder

Motherhood changed me in ways I never expected.

I was surrounded by love and support, and even then, I found motherhood to be both beautiful and incredibly hard. The joy, the exhaustion, the learning curve all existed at once. As I moved through those early days, I met so many mothers doing the same thing, but with far less support than I had. Women navigating motherhood without a village, without certainty, and sometimes without the essentials their babies needed.

That stayed with me.

House of Ziv was born from a simple desire to be part of that village.

I wanted to create something that could offer both beauty and help. Something that felt special to carry, yet meaningful in what it gave back.

I also loved preparing for my own babies. Designing nurseries, choosing blankets, selecting a baby bag. I bought more than a few - bags that is. But I never quite found one that truly felt right. Something timeless, functional, and elevated enough for everyday motherhood.

So I decided to create it.

House of Ziv brings together thoughtful design and purpose. Every piece is made with intention, designed to support mothers through the earliest moments of motherhood while extending care beyond the product itself.

Ziv is a Hebrew word meaning light, radiance, brilliance or glow. It symbolizes brightness and joy, frequently used to represent the joy a child brings to a family. It also reflects what I hope House of Ziv brings into the world. Light in practical ways during seasons that can feel heavy. Through every purchase, 10% of our profits are dedicated to supporting mothers in need with essentials like food, clothing, formula, nappies and everyday necessities.

My faith in Jesus has shaped this mission deeply, guided by the belief that we are called to care for one another, especially in moments of vulnerability. Our mission is inspired by the words of Matthew 25:35-37:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me..."

House of Ziv exists for mothers. From one mother to another, thank you for being part of this story.
